Elope in Asheville at the Botanical Gardens
Everyone who wants to elope in Asheville wants a mountaintop wedding was what I thought when I first started Elope Asheville. When I first opened my “doors,” I only had one venue: a beautiful mountaintop vineyard. I quickly learned that variety is the spice of life and have added a few more regular sites over the years.
The Asheville Botanical Gardens has become one of our favorite spots to do weddings. It’s basically in the middle of Asheville, so it’s easily accessible. Even though it’s close to downtown, it’s still an oasis of nature that feels like you are in the middle of a state park.
When you elope in Asheville, you want great pictures to remember the event, and the Botanical Gardens has no shortage of great spots for pictures. The site is where two streams combine into one, and there are a number of beautiful, handmade foot bridges over them. There are wooded areas, there are open areas. There are flowers, and there are rock gardens.

You can have your ceremony under a gazebo with the stream flowing feet away. You can have your ceremony next to stone benches with a footbridge in the background. You can also have your ceremony under a porch of the Hayes Cabin, a “dog trot” log cabin with a landscaped yard and a wooden fence.
