I’ll Come to You for your Asheville B&B Wedding
Having an Asheville B&B wedding in your Asheville-area Bed & Breakfast, rental cabin, or even back yard is even easier and more affordable with Elope Asheville.
While I just started offering this service this autumn season, it has already gained a lot of attention of couples who don’t want to leave the beautiful surrounding, comfort, and privacy of their accommodations. A cabin in the woods is your home away from home while staying in the mountains surrounding Asheville, and sometimes you just don’t want to leave. I make that dream a reality for you by coming to you — to your cabin or B&B. I can even bring a photographer and/or a witness, should you need either.
This weekend, I had the pleasure of going to Highlands, North Carolina, to the Half-Mile Farm.
The couple, Larry and Tina, wanted a simple, stress-free, meaningful service without worrying about having to drive to Asheville and fight all of the leaf-viewing traffic on the trip back and forth. I love a good road trip, and so I was more than happy to drive out to see them at this stunning Bed and Breakfast to have a B&B wedding of their dreams.
One of my business philosophies is that I don’t believe weddings have to be stressful affairs that go on and on. I don’t believe eloping or elopement ceremonies have to be fly-by-night affairs done by a couple. This wedding perfectly illustrated exactly what a perfect elopement could be: a B&B wedding, on the back porch of their room, with a ceremony written just for them, out under the beautiful fall colors of this stunning season.
When I first arrived, the lighting was too perfect to delay any longer. I brought along my photographer, Amanda Berk, and we went all around the grounds of the Half-Mile Farm taking pictures anywhere we thought looked good. If any magazine decides to write an article about Elope Asheville, this is the wedding they should feature for the pictorial. The fall leaves, combined with the reflective pond, as well as some seasonal flowers that were in perfect bloom made these pictures absolutely stunning and brilliant. The couple spent nearly 45 minutes just taking pictures throughout the property! We all had a great deal of fun laughing, joking around, and posing for the photo shoot.
We retired back to the couple’s room, where they had set up candles all along the banister of their back porch. They made some specific requests for the ceremony, which I am always happy to oblige. This is your day — your ceremony — and I want it to be completely reflective of who you are and how your story as a couple has brought you to this point.
At the end of the day, this couple got married on their own terms, in a location that was most comfortable for them, and didn’t stress one bit about their wedding day. I even brought witnesses so that the couple wouldn’t have to worry about that. This is what a wedding day should be! The couple ended up spending less than what some people pay for just the wedding cake, and they didn’t have to get married under the harsh lights and musky smell of a court house. This is what I do, and this is what I love.

Some Bed & Breakfast locations and cabin rental companies may wish to be notified if we are to perform a ceremony on-site, though because our ceremonies are so intimate I have yet to have a location object to one of Elope Asheville’s ceremonies being held on their property.
Once you reserve a date and time, all you will need is a marriage license. I will take care of the rest!
That’s it!
